just keep going.
i'll tell you, i started writing a novel during the viral Summer of 2020. at first i would eke out a few hundred words for every session, and the work itself is difficult and takes a long time. that number slowly grew as my practice grew.

so i'm currently reading an F Gardner book, and let me tell you something else. F Gardner is able to pump out books very quickly because F Gardner's work is not difficult nor does it take a long time to make.
>>17790686 makes a good point. why do you want to write? is it to be successful? if so, you are going to need to pivot your approach to writing. on the other hand, if you write because you want to create something great that people will enjoy, then stay the course. 300 words a day is exactly the kind of trickle that you can use to develop a practice that slowly becomes more perfect.
