Well /lit/, an idea for a new story finally hit me like a well-placed gunshot after half a fucking year of writer's block and posting my back log of stories I thought I wouldn't ever post.

(You). Yes you reading this right now. I just wanted to say I really like all those book ideas you come up with in your head. Also, you're really funny in the talkshow appearances you imagine yourself in as a acclaimed author, in particular the subtle /lit/ references you make for your bros.

I was getting sleepy and red eyed refreshing my thread when anon asked me to write something. My eyelids became lighter in the light of new information, which in this case was that I had a friend on the other side of the blue screen, which in recent days seemed very cold, commanding me from it's metal and plastic dwelling. Like every happy scout encountering fun, I never wanted to sleep again, I just wanted to write for my newfound peer. HOW ABOUT REAL MARKDOWN FORMATTING?

So we can make fucking page headers, bulleted items, tables, and so much other kinds of shit. People will be able to organize their autist book reviews in a more coherent manner.

Oh, I don't keep anything job related on paper. I was just trying to say 99% of my stuff is digital (todo, other non-emotional notes, etc) and it's dumb easy to keep it secure via encryption.

You can't do that with paper. Now, none of the contents of what I write on paper are 'important', but people are fucking assholes and will use it to emotionally blackmail you about random shit or think because you write down your thoughts, you're broken somehow.

My complaint really only matters if you're surrounded by bad/emotionally stunted people. So, you have to 'protect' yourself against them.

Gonna go to my favorite used bookstore for the first time since lockdown started
Today is their 50 cent fiction day. Gonna just grab whatever catches my attention
