Overzealous in what sense? It is possible to postulate an emotional reduction base of two which can be seen as the division of emotions into positive and negative emotions, however one would like to define them. If there is an impediment to experiencing positive emotions, that impediment is the source of all negative emotion by definition. Now you have two options. That source is either inside of you or outside of you. If it is outside of you, you will want to destroy the world, because it is the source of negative emotion. If it is inside of you, you will want to destroy it without destroying yourself because otherwise you lose all positive emotion. How can you do that in any other way than confession? OP is clearly self-destructive.
