So, I want to ask propose a discussion of how people interpreted how a god would think. This is not a strictly religious topic, just a thought of how humanity interprets the machinations of the divine.
In the past gods were more human, as we see in multiple interpretations of pantheons throughout history, with them being lustful, vengeful and spiteful to not only their creations but even to each other. This later developed with the emerging popularity of monotheistic religions. Then the divines thoughts were more “alien”. Less like humanity but still wrathful at even a moments notice. This is seen with the old interpretation of the 3 biggest religions such as Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The God in such religions was strict, and yet was divorced from humanity. Now, it has changed to where god is benevolent above all, forgiveness and peace are staples of New Testaments.
What are your thoughts about trying to interpret the thinking of an omnipotent creator
