someone once said that mental illness is largely a racket in that anyone that doesn't want to work 40 hours a week for their entire life is said to be mentally ill or might force themselves to do which would make them actually mentally ill
basically, its the idea that society decides what is mentally ill and its often at the behest of "capitalism"
I don't necessarily buy into the entire "capitalism BAD" meme but whoever said this definitely did
