/lit/, I need your help.

I'm looking for a quote which I think is by Ezra Pound, from one of his essays. I remember that the essay opened with this sentence, or something along these lines:

"Many mistakes in interpretation would be corrected if readers knew to distinguish/place each text in its correct category".

This is a paraphrase. I remember only the idea, but not how it was written, nor any concrete word that might lead me to it. In fact, I don't even remember if it was written by Pound, though I'm 90% sure it was.

Do you recognize it from Pound's essays or elsewhere? I really need this quote for an essay I'm writing.

I need your thoughts on these three popular poets (this is to weed out plebs):

>Ezra Pound
>T.S. Eliot
>Robert Frost

Feel free to rank them, as there is only one correct order.

Does anyone know of some good resources to learn about ancient Greek stress and intonation? I'm starting a text setting of Hugh Selwyn Mauberley and Pound writes in a letter that the meter is "Gautier and Bion's Adonis". I think it would be helpful to hear someone read a Greek epic out loud to get a sense of how to shape the vocal part but I'm having trouble finding anything.

After colliding with teachers, am now convinced I have no future.

I try looking for contemporary books, writers, movements, etc. that might inspire me to keep going, but so far nothing.

Still think I'm onto something, but cannot keep up with it.

Completely without energy. No one seems to care about nothing.

What now?

I'm five pages into The Pisan Cantos right now.
So this is Modernism power, not bad...

Who else is on Pound's level?

It's not just name dropping, he's deft at weaving a thread between his life, world mythologies, histories, languages, cultures.
It's exhausting going back to the notes every line to get the allusions, but it's also one of the most ingenious pieces of writing I've read.

Who else has read this?
