if you have a belief in h, don't you by definition reject any evidence to the contrary of h? how, then, do you move from a belief in h to a belief in x?

Hello good fellow,
OP here. I appreciate very much this piece of work, I am more of an abstract idealist, so certain realistic elements such as the phone battery, the pill, the razoblade, unsettle me.
But the message of despair, and longing for relief is passed, and felt by the reader. Themes such as guilt, flattery, vanity should be extrapolated into particuliar poems, and not mashed upon in a single poem, because it kindly confuses the reader to shift such strongly felt feelings to one another, rather than to emphasize very well on one.
