Just marathoned Shadow of the Torturer, Starship Troopers, and Neuromancer
I did not like Shadow, felt like there was too many plots and setup and overall nothing really interesting happened after Severian got kicked out. I started Claw of the conciliator because they came in one book and I just don’t like it. The cast from the first book gets separated from him in a single paragraph that I thought was a dream, and then this Jonas guy is introduced out of nowhere. I feel like I’m too stupid to understand this book because I often have no idea what’s happening. And there’s a point where Jonas points out that Severian has like a dozen goals and laughs about it, yet here I am one book down and like sixty percent of it was a complex plot to try and steal his sword. I have been filtered. I kneel.
Loved Starship troopers, definitely a 10/10 for me. Kept me captivated and I felt like I learned a lot from it.
Neuromancer was great too, however I think Hyperion/Endymion Cantos did AI better
Molly is cute
