I've only been reading classics for the last two years or so. I'm going to read Infinite Jest soon (have it sitting on my desk).

I took a break to read the first book in A Series Of Unfortunate Events, it was fun being able to plow through the simplistic and extremely concise prose. Are there any YA or even Children's Series that would hold up reading them as an adult?

Gotta include THE GOAT Children's series. Reading this as a kid was so cash, pic related, the best in the series.

This is the worst book in the series.

I'm interested.
What is the general consensus for Harry Potter on this board?
