I sincerely believe that every single aspect of human life from management of factories down to diet and sex life should be controlled by the state. What books will confirm or challenge my view?

>there's no way of knowing whether the real world actually exists
>there's no way of knowing whether you're mortal and you'll die like the rest of the people
>there's no way of knowing if other people even exist
why did philosophy even get past these questions? it seems that they are the most basic questions one can conceivably ask and yet philosophers seemed to've assumed they did not exist and moved on to talk about the nature of reality, Absolute, universals etc. while pretending these questions were properly addressed. is there any philosopher who made an honest attempt to answer any of them?
