am i aiming too high? i have never published anything and only chose Asimov as my objective because i love his work... how am i supposed to know the prestige level and acceptance rate of each magazine in the market?

I mostly write Sci-Fi, Fantasy and some poetry, by the way (and believe or not English in NOT my first language)

I get what you mean, I have a hard time even imagining any meaningful sort of social movement at this point. Right now I'm mostly enjoying the spectacle though. Since I'm not American it all feels pretty distant even though I know that's wrong.

There's no way to un-do testosterone, if you want to phase out the oppression of women just get as close as you can with policy. The unfortunate thing about changing as massive of an institution as the patriarchy, especially an institution with a physical basis like the patriarchy, is that if it's going to change it will change as a result of forces much larger than ourselves on a much larger timescale. You can try to play a long game but it would be difficult to understate the futility of that idea, and the short game would necessitate at the very least hundreds of millions of people dying.
