Whats the most impactful book you've ever read?

Pic related is what I read late at night when I've had a few and there is a weird but nice comfort in the melancholy of this book

I've just been diagnosed with cancer. What else should I read while recovering from surgery?

I got interested in the book and know German and English – currently also learning Spanish. Which translation should I read? From what I've seen there are multiple English translations, but Spanish is more close to Portuguese so waiting and reading it that way seems like a nice option too.
Which translation would you recommend?

I just started reading this book an hour ago, and I feel like I'm going mad but I can't stop reading it. >I haven't even had breakfast.
>It's grasping my soul.
>Feels like it's the journal I wrote in my past life.
