Whats the most impactful book you've ever read?

I've just been diagnosed with cancer. What else should I read while recovering from surgery?

I got interested in the book and know German and English – currently also learning Spanish. Which translation should I read? From what I've seen there are multiple English translations, but Spanish is more close to Portuguese so waiting and reading it that way seems like a nice option too.
Which translation would you recommend?
