I finally decided to read it and I was surprised by it. It was short, fun, action-packed, milscifi and I loved every second of it. I highly recommend it If you guys just want military sci fi.

Yes it’s a recommendation. If you want military sci fi without the bullshit you’ll probably enjoy this series.

Anybody here read the Galaxy's Edge series? How is it? I'm aware of the (blatant) Star Wars/not Star Wars nature of the books, I'm more concerned with whether they are actually good

Has anyone read any of the Galaxy's Edge books? I'm aware of the comparisons to Star Wars, but to be honest when I consider the state of current Star Wars I think a counterpart/rip-off might actually be appealing
