Are there any new books of the Halo series I should read? I've already read the "original" 5 books. I tried reading grasslands but it was too slow and hard to get into. So I've been out of the loop for the past 5 years or so and am wondering if anything new worth reading has come out besides the forerunner series.

I'm looking for something like pic related; the halo books.
Trashy scifi with militaristic undertones I suppose.
I know theyre objectively bad but I enjoy them
