can artistic taste demand universal standards?

what do you gain by this? why pursue strife when you could develop community?

again, i can only try and restart; but beyond this,i will not try again: my name is william. what is yours? what are you interested in knowing about?

let's take me out of the equation entirely. you're right: i'm a pleb, i've read nothing; i'm austistic; i'm a cuck; i only spend flagrantly on books so others will find in me the illusion of intelligence; i have no friends and will die alone. so be it-- i am nothing to you, nor anyone else.

but i say again: what is it that YOU want from this world?

what? how do the two relate whatsoever? i've had this trip for maybe 6 or more years, anyway--but why would that matter? it's bizarre logical breaks like this that just make me scratch my head and wonder if you even read the weird, absurd shit you write...like you know how much it all seems to just drip from some inbred insecurity of yours, right? i tend not to look down on people who havent attended ivy leagues, the whole privelege and opporunity, etc etc., but damn, its shit like that that makes me agree entirely with >>9036994

really do seem like insignificant morons with more beef and brawn than anything resembling brains, seemingly proving just how superior the education offered by those schools is: it simply produces better human agents, ones who don't launch such pathetically trifling "arguments"

it is so fucking clear you were rejected from whatever place you wanted, or look longingly upon those who enjoy such opportunities. there is simply no basis for your anger otherwise.

i truly enjoy the prospect of sharing knowledge and have spent some time amassing a library that is tailored to the creation of what i would call the "educated american citizen"

to this end, i have a scanner and am willing to share my books in the form of digital PDFs

what i would like are suggestions as to the best way to share those PDFs with you all

as time goes on, i will post images of my library to this thread, with accompanying subjects listed. please refer to those images for particular requests--i am willing to scan in virtually anything, but please make your requests reasonable and expect some delay between their recognition and their execution
tl;dr: want to share library with you all, converting physical copies into PDFs, please tell me best way to share collectively/create digital archive

canada fucking sucks. my experience with border control there has forever turned me away from that goddamn frost-covered nation. fuck you and your bland socialism.

on another note, are "but is it art?" and "inventing the future" any good?

yeah--my capacity to invent/prevericate and then to dissassociate/sublimate has been one of my greatest qualities/most significant flaws as a human being; but, it has enabled me to change in some pretty significant ways, pull 180s and live out radically different lives. been interesting, and i ultimately enjoy being me.

out of curiosity, what is the self-profile of someone who keeps and catalogues photos of other bookshelves from years ago?

yeah i'm "that guy." dunno why you believe what you read; most of what i posted was false, as i assume it is from others...but maybe that's just to project an erroneous standard, i dunno
