Not him, but the statically chance of him meeting even a handful of people throughout the entirety of his life that could be considered "intellectual equals" is slim to none. I've known some brilliant minds throughout my experiences in academia, and their intellect, while something to behold, is often coupled with severe social anxiety, severe depression, severe introversion, and severe agoraphobia. These blokes have literally only had their never ending stream of consciousness to keep them company since childhood.

So while 1 in 10,000 isn't THAT statically significant in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't mean those people aren't burdened by their intellect, or have any intellectual peers within their immediate social grouping.
