english major, sort of. i'm not a burger so there were a lot of differences in the curriculum, like more emphasis on teaching and linguistics besides literature.
i actually did it for love, but then i got into translation and publishing, now i make a decent living out of it.

Well, if you're good with grammar and specialize in a field (Law, engineering, chemistry, etc) it's not that hard to get into technical translation. Start right now, just go find some freelance jobs and build a nice portifolio, I did this thought college and it worked out nicely.

Não tenho lido muitos autores brasileiros contemporâneos, na diria que está muito corroído devido à situação política caótica do país.
