Can't post excerpts because I don't have it at hand because why would I own a book I hate

Is this book supposed to make me sympathetic to autists and teach me that they're just like us on the inside or something? Because it's not working.

Is this book supposed to teach me autists are people too? because it's not working. It's having the opposite effect.

I've never hated a protagonist as much as Autismo here. Half the time he doesn't even act autistic, he just acts like an asshole.

Apparently the author got too much criticism from autists who didn't see anything of them in this book so he changed his mind saying he's just "an outsider" or something.

Also, I'm amused that autists kept complaining that this book didn't exactly represent their experience, so the author had to change his mind and say the main character didn't actually have Aspergers.
