I've been telling people of this dream for a while but nobody ever tells me anything about it

A couple of years ago my cat died and I started having these odd dreams.
In these dreams, my cat would come back to life but he'd look off, bizarre, alien. Regardless of this, my family members would react to it with delirious joy. Delirious as in their pupils would get dilated and they'd start to frantically and histerically laugh and jump around like maniacs. And everytime I'd just sit away and stare, frightened. What the fuck does this shit mean?

I own a copy, haven't read it yet. I do think it's worth reading. Out of date but good for understanding the period when the Union was just getting started. Also that's not even close to the funniest image on the internet, this is.
