Not since Don Quixote has a book evinced consistent laughter; now I know that pleasure once more. If you haven't read 120 Days of Sodom, treat yourself.

Here's a taste:

"Monseigneur," spoke up Martaine, "I feel myself greatly disposed to satisfy you, were Your Excellency to wish it...."

"No, no, Christ, no!" the Bishop cried, "don't you know that there are a thousand occasions when one does not want a woman's asshole? I'll wait, I'll wait..."

>tfw political correctness keeps you from knowing the taste of an adolescent

Daily reminder to appreciate Sade.

I have justified embracing the NEET life up until now because I have devoted my time to reading and learning, but now I have grown bored of suburban life with my parents so I will begin to seek independence. I need a job that will allow me time to read/write either while at work or after completion and I would like it to be in an urban environment. I turn to you, my only friends, for suggestions as to what kind of work, and in my grandest fantasies, for a connection to slide easily into a job. If it is of any value, I have a degree in Psychology which is yet to be of any use.

Also, in an effort to keep this /lit/ related, I wish to dedicated this post to the underrated, under-appreciated Marquis de Sade. I am now reading 120 Days of Sodom and although am only two days into it, I am entertained to a greater degree than I could have imagined. Here's a taste of his delicacy:

"Her ass, withered, worn, marked, torn, more resembled marbled paper than human skin, and its hole was so gaping, sprung, and rugose that the bulkiest machines could, without her knowing a thing, penetrate it dry."

De Sade was more of a hedonist and a moral relativist

Even if he did have some proto-nihilist ideas, he shouldn't be the person representing nihilism. Also they shouldve chosen a better picture

Obviously the first one should be made to play a beautiful tune while the second one is forced to pleasure the third one. Afterwords the third one uses the flute on the first one while the second one is somewhere in the middle
