evening /lit/, how do you do?

i've been a lurker for a while, and i decided to post now, and i'll just go straight to the point:

i always had some free time at work, and because i decided to get on track with my life, i decided i would start writing a book. i actually came across with a pretty good story and i got some pretty solid characters as well.

my problem is, as i am very very anti-social and i rarely go out i became bad at dialogues or character interaction, is there any way to practise that? thanks in advance.

also, what books do you recommend? i am reading the sticky, but i want to know what /lit likes and why.

What can I expect?

Why is this book so well regarded? Is there something I'm not getting?

Zusak's writing seems terrible to me.

/lit/, I want to increase my reading speed. I sit currently around 400 words/minute which isn't terrible but is still using lolinnervoice.

She was a terribly cute UK cumdumpster, possibly 1st year student. Very pretty clothes and body and good taste in books (hence name). Also requesting any saved pictures of her.

I was blissfully surprised when I found an Agent to represent me and even more so when she found a publisher to print my first (only) novel.

But now it's being edited and I disagree with a lot of the changes the editor (also female) is requesting. I feel that she doesn't really "get" the book in parts.

I'd like to keep it my way; but worry it won't be published if I'm too objectionable.

But I dont know anything about the author..how is his writing style for example? Whats the theme of the book?

And I'm always curious about the title of a book. "The book thief" anyone care to tell me why it has that name? I dont care if you spoil a little, it's like an obsession to me.
