>I will sodomize you and face-fuck you,
>cocksucker Aurelius and bottom bitch Furius,
>who think, from my little verses,
>because they're a little soft, that I have no shame.
>For it is right for the devoted poet to be chaste
>himself, but it's not necessary for his verses to be so.
>[Verses] which then indeed have taste and charm,
>If they are delicate and have no shame,
>And because they can incite an itch,
>And I don't mean in boys, but in
>Those hairy men who can't move their loins.
>You, because [about] my many thousands of kisses
>You've read, you think me less of a man?
>I will sodomize you and face-fuck you.

Catullus 16 - written sometimes between 84 BC - 54BC

I’ll fuck your ass and rape your face
Cock-gobbling, power-bottom poets
Who say my fancy, fluffy measures
Make me a flaccid, fluffing fag.
A pious poet should be pure
But his poems don’t have to be.
Poetry should taste like sex.
Its meaty words can lick and flit
Their tongues to scratch the itch that lifts
Not just young boys but wrinkled men
Whose cocks are as curdled as their lines.
Because you’ve read my kissing poems
You think you can make my mouth your cunt?
I’ll fuck your ass and rape your face!

This poem has always been well attested in the corpus, but it did not receive an accurate, unredacted publication in English until the 1960s.

>I will sodomize you and face-fuck you,
>bottom Aurelius and catamite Furius,
>you who think, because my poems
>are sensitive, that I have no shame.
>For it's proper for a devoted poet to be moral
>himself, [but] in no way is it necessary for his poems.
>In point of fact, these have wit and charm,
>if they are sensitive and a little shameless,
>and can arouse an itch,
>and I don't mean in boys, but in those hairy old men
>who can't get it up.
>Because you've read my countless kisses,
>you think less of me as a man?
>I will sodomize you and face-fuck you.
Is there a more based poet?

Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo,
Aureli pathice et cinaede Furi,
qui me ex versiculis meis putastis,
quod sunt molliculi, parum pudicum.
Nam castum esse decet pium poetam
ipsum, versiculos nihil necesse est;
qui tum denique habent salem ac leporem,
si sunt molliculi ac parum pudici,
et quod pruriat incitare possunt,
non dico pueris, sed his pilosis
qui duros nequeunt movere lumbos.
Vos, quod milia multa basiorum
legistis, male me marem putatis?
Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo.

Does anyone else wonder how famous author's went through their life and overcame different obstacles?

Like, I wonder how Pynchon got through puberty, and what Faulkner was like when he asked his a girl out and if Shelley just hated swimming lessons or something.

Usually I choose a Greek name from a literary background.

For instance, I'm considering naming my daughter Lesbia.

Probably Vergil because he is so honest and insightful and still humble.

Lately I've been getting more into Catullus. Very funny and masterfully crafted poetry.
