Science is a tool. It does not posit. There is no trust to be had in it. Like most Redditors, you conflate science with scientists, who are very biased and fallible despite the lab coat. You also seem to conflate scientists with engineers and inventors. I don't defer my thinking to authority figures, because I don't need them to think for me.
