Currently halfway through Sword in the Storm. First time reading Gemmell.
It certainly has some flaws and doesn't strike me as very original, but I couldn't care less. There's something about good old hero stories where evil is bad and good is good that requires very little to keep me interested, and it's sufficiently well written as a bonus.

We should try to make a comfy escapist fantasy chart.
