Do you feel there is much to be said for this method? What books would you choose to copy out if it worked?

I just finished reading this book, and to be honest, I didn't think it is as good as everyone says it is. Am I missing something; should I reread it?

I could not put this down. I got so swept up in it I actually thought I was going insane myself. (lets just say I've been to mushroom mountain.)

Can c/lit/ recommend me anything in a similar vein?

Reading "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" and going to finish it today. Loving every single page of it, reading has never been so easy, apart from the terrible formatting of the e-book (like a retard had converted it).
Anyway, /lit/, what do you think of it?

Do you think a reader could enjoy and understand that book if he never did any psychoactive drug?

So /lit/, what are you opinions on Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas? I read it a few months ago and really liked it, so I thought we could have a discussion about it (perhaps on its treatment of the American Dream?)

And please, don't bring up the fact that a large amount of high schoolers think that it is amazing because it talks about drugs. We aren't here to talk about the fans, only the book itself.
