Kermit has explained himself on this multiple times at length. If you actually listened to the whole conversation rather than a tiktok video you would hear his reasoning is that there was a study done by multiple Nobel laureates that out of every few ten thousand people you get a few super geniuses that can fix complex problems for the entirety of the human population. So if there are more people, there are more geniuses solving more problems. It doesn't require funding legislation or regulation, just that people fuck, and if you MUST spend money spend it on keeping kids healthy active and curious. I don't know how sound this is, makes sense to me on the surface.
