Very comfy to read, even though there is not much substance in these books. Pure entertainment and nice, clean prose. Very enjoyable.

They all end up disappearing thanks to /lit/

You can tell the smile is fake, it is forced, it is a cover. She pretends to be happy, she likes to think she is like everyone, but once in a while, the cover falls, and she realizes the fact of her existence.

Far away from everyone of her age, she works making bookmarks, and then sells them on the internet. She wants to help her family. The farm she lives in is not making a lot of money this season, and her delicate hands cannot milk the cows like her grandma wrinkled paws.

Books take her away of the farm, show her a different reality apart from cows and penguins. But you can live in the clouds for so long. Tragedy brings us to reality. When a cow fall down the stairs or a pet chicken is cooked for night's dinner, she remembers where she is, and knows she cannot escape who she is.

She smiles, but she cannot hide the pain.
