Its weird this thread exists.

In my journey away from pessimism and antinatalism based on what most people consider a fallacy, that this is how nature has made it therefor it is in some way "right," I have recently come to the conclusion that homosexuality is something deep-down abhorrent to even its practitioners.

On some level, reality hates fags.

The federalist society are what republicans think the ivory tower does, but they are actually doing it. They hold little meetings and attend all the events, get money from the organization to placate the masses. Most law students are ducking brain dead, politically/worldly/ideologically speaking. They cry when you call them indoctrinated mercenaries in a jurisprudence class. The entire framework of law school is taught to be as apolitical as possible. That “this is the law right now, they are rules, that’s it, learn them, here’s the rule from before, here are the rights we have and the esoteric exceptions and rules to them.” I never once had a professor who espoused leftist ideology. In fact, I had a professor call me out every class as a communist because I asked him in personal office hours to explain owning land (more of a joke than anything, but he beat the horse dead (I admit it was funny)). Anyway, the “neoliberal” framework of the status quo in law school runs in every vein of its existence. The only leftist ideology are critical race theory kids, and they’re just off registering people to vote instead of doing anything productive. The real problem, to circle back, is the federalist society. The promote students to go on journals and inundate them with one very particular view point, waive scholarships and networking in their face, all in exchange for publication of a very particular view point, a viewpoint that is pervasive witin the judiciary. Articles written by students form the basis of judicial opinions. Specific members get clerk positions with certain judges. Anyone with an R next to their name is going to hire federalist clerks. All the prosecutors who want to move up, federalists. Etc. it just goes on. You’d think that would be fine, but the majority of the money comes from places like the Bradley Group and the Koch Foundation, meaning that it’s not about your fucking civil liberties or freedom, it’s a tactical strike against the framework of the entire legal field to get favorable decisions for big business. The results of the federalist society are a long way off from the intentions in the federalist papers and other documents of the time. The whole this is so absurd. We are all so fucked. We have been fucked. We will get fucked more.

I remember hearing about a 30 year old guy dating a 14 year old girl and everyone around me was reacting negatively about it while I thought it was innocuous.
Made me realize that reading literature written prior to the 20th century has warped my sense of what is normal and what is not.

There's probably a lot of things many people abhor today where as people that engage in certain type of literature find it normal.
