I don't get why the authors feel the need to include this, or why when it's included it makes people so mad. All nonfiction happens in our head, why does the writer feel the need to point it out? And why does it anger the reader? whether it happened in my head or the head of the character in my head, it's still fake.
Maybe I don't get it because I'm an ESL
