There are a few Nietzsche threads up but they didn't seem appropriate for my question.

I've been reading some of Nietzsche's works and there are a few things I don't really understand and I'm not sure if that is my fault or Nietzsche's:
Why is Schopenhauer as Educator all about Kant? Did Nietzsche just appreciate Schope's nihilistic honesty in that we would be better off having never been born? I don't see him as having a big influence on Nietzsche but the 2 are always paired together.

How am I supposed to interpret the "will to truth?" Is this just Nietzsche trying to set up a moral system within his nihilistic world view?
