You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up, to more than I can be

I have an idea for a new general.

/Mrg/ Will be the name. Monthly reading general. We will pick a book that we all collectively read for a month and have discussions about it weekly, like a book club. When the month ends we choose a new book. It wont be something highly popular, or something everyone's read most of the time.

Thoughts?

Then you should make some for yourself by going to a deli and picking up some fine prosciutto and then picking up a nice ripe melon. Otherwise I'm afraid you will have to wait until you go to an Italian restaurant or wedding.

i've never really liked the movies growing up, only the first three I actually could remember what happened in them but last year my friends nagged me to get into the books and they are pretty dang fun.
The last one is a mess though, but the last battle is worth it.

Thank you anon who posted that old trance song "The Age of Love" a few threads ago. I have been enjoying it ever since. If you see this please post more early trance music.

Of course, I've known about 4chan for at least a decade because my older brother has posted since 2007-2008, and diffusion through other sites. For as much lunacy as I see on this board, this is easily the most entertaining lit forum I've found on the internet. I wish there was less hate speech but to be honest, if dealing with people's word vomit is the price to pay for people saying what they want about lit without feeling like they'll be shut down, then I can deal with that.

Anyone here ever study American Modernism? About to enter into a course with Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Faulkner, Hurston, Faulkner, and titles Passing, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Is there a better feeling?

2 weeks in, this was the first judo session I lasted the whole time(2 hours) without sitting out or puking in the bathroom.
I'm making progress
