I'll read all the books in 2022!

Please help me settle this debate once and for all. Is it "oh most definitely" or "almost definitely"?

absolute base starter books. I'm new to philosophy, and only just developing my axioms, and I'd like a list of books I should read to develop my philosophy. Looking for books focusing on personal development too, im not really interested in history or general knowledge. I've heard presocratics is the best place to start, but from my understanding this is a genre? any help, /lit/bros?

Hey /lit/. How does one write a story that makes the readers think that something is off? Like stories that look and sound normal but has horror undertones to it?

I remember reading a short story online about a son and a father who go hiking and then the son is for some reason supposed to throw an animal off a cliff but he can't do it so he ends up looking like a coward in front of his dad or so he thinks.

Any idea what the story/author could be?

I Know a guy through discord who is sort of your stereotypical gamer type who shows interest in learning about more subjects beyond video games and programming. I think you guys might be able to help him get more cultured.

What kind of media and texts could I recommend to them to
Just to give them a good start. Just something accessible to spur curiosity.

I’m thinking YouTube channels and short texts might be a good start and then maybe some well-Contained books or Maybe a single writer or topic they enjoy.
