Hey /lit/,

I was just reading "A Secret of Amber", which is a bit of personal history by Ed Greenwood (Forgotten Realms fame) about how he and Roger Zelazny interacted over the years at SF cons to write a brief almost-story together.

In it, he writes that the first time they met, Zelazny recognized his name, and Greenwood said, "Yes, I'd been meaning to speak to you about that. The hospital..." and Zelazny finished for him, "let you out for the day."

Was he in a hospital for something?? Long-term physical rehabilitation, or psychiatric problems, or ???

Just wondering. It struck a chord, and now I can't sleep. :-(
