/phi/ I have a need for confirmation or contention. Was reading Deleuze, specifically an interview where he was discussing Capitalism and Desire. Basically, what I received from it was that intellect is a mechanism which coopts free expression and reabsorbs it into the repressive bureaucracy(because intellectuals are the dispensors of intellect--it neutralizes any massive desire of liberated thought) ..but then was like ,wait deleuze, you are an intellectual are you not? Was he making a self defeating argument (pic unrelated but very cool)
