I have the opportunity to buy the almost complete works of Dosoevsky (not actually complete because it doesn't include the whole Diary of a Writer) for quite a cheap price (maybe 2€ per book, whereas they sell 5 to 20€ each in general). Pic related.
However the translation is old (1940's) and very different from the ones that are acclaimed nowadays. It's a translation that tends to 'improve' Dosto's prose. The more recent translations are much more accurate, which makes them annoying and sometimes unreadable imho. The consequence is that I'll probably like the old translation but it may be frowned upon by picky amateurs.

Do you think I should buy it ?
