Rodrick has been carrying the same book around for two weeks. “Fanged”something. It’s huge. I’ve never even seen Rodrick read before, but apparently this “Nick Land” guy is all he’s interested in now. He brings it to the dinner table and everything, makes us listen while he talks about cyborgs and computers and stuff. You’d think Mom would be happy, she’s the one who dragged him to the bookstore in the first place. But last night I heard her tell him that he needed to return it and get something more appropriate. Then he said she just wasn’t “accelerated” enough to understand it. I don’t even know what that means.
