/lit/ - Literature

I'm impressed at how decent most of these are. /lit / should write a book or a zine or something. I raise my glass to you all.

So /lit/, what up?

I have been considering writing on a novel for some time now, I enjoy writing and believe myself to be reasonable, but if I were to write this book it would be more as an exercise of my abilities and something to keep in my library, then for any real pupblication purposes.

I have a few ideas in mind, aswell as other works of fiction (yes I intend to write fiction) to draw from. My plan would be to work to the classic hero archetype (http://www.wimp.com/makeshero/)) and build the story around one central character.

Do you have any tips for me?
