I love this crazy bastard's stuff. Any recommendations for something similar? I've also read most of Gene Wolfe's works which were also great.

Dark and religious, funny and bizarre, logical but completely wacky, and a premise that could only come from the addled mind of a true genius.

Out of the huge PKD catalogue this is the one that still makes me the most excited (at least so far). It plays to all of the man's strengths while still being completely its own animal.

this was such a great book

people always give philip k dick a lot of shit for his two dimensional characters, but i thought the characters in this were decent.

i particularly liked the relationship between mayerson and bulero, it was a kind of touching employee/employer relationship with a sense of camaraderie and obligation formed over the years, it felt real to me and not all that cliche, although who the fuck knows, maybe it was when he wrote it

anyway, general PKD thread?
