Does anyone here feel like they're inherently smarter than the philosophical giants of history? It would do well to remember the average IQ in the early 1900s was around 90. I'd venture to say someone like Nietzsche who was a "genius" of his time, had an IQ of 140 (which is totally unremarkable nowadays). Sometimes, I feel embarrassed for them. They spent so much effort towards... what? Nothing, as far as I'm concerned.
