Each book is better than the last, but I must say I fucking loved the corpo extraction in Count Zero.
I still prefer picrel to this trilogy though.

Gibson's probably your go to guy. Half-way through the Burning Chrome collection myself, it's really interesting watching his take on the "future" change as civilization progresses towards it.

How "good" the book is has very little bearing on how popular the movement became/what birthed the movement. People are picking up less and less books these days and those that do are mostly hyper-critical assholes. 30 years ago people used to read, you know, for recreation.
We're also seeing a lot of new modern trends coming out of shitty movies and god-awful books.
