I recently read Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Don't judge, I only read it for money.

I was expecting some stupid Van Helsing shit, but it wasn't even that. It was an incredibly straightforward biography of Abe Lincoln, and the author threw in a few vampire slayings, and by a few, I mean like four.

The fact that book contains more historical accuracies than inaccuracies only makes me hate it more. If you're not going to go all out and be original and just write a super half-assed biography then why bother writing it in the first place?

I've read the first book, Guilty Pleasures.

It was so god damn stupid it's hard to imagine the series getting any worse.

Why does Laurell K Hamilton describe every character's clothing? And why do I have to read about every time Anita changes her wardrobe? Oh, it's because Laurell K Hamilton is a stupid woman who can't write? Okay.
