Any recommendations?

OP, I found this pic a while back. I read some Ginsberg and Bukowski, thinking of getting more into poetry myself.

Norton Anthology is massive, any smaller recs for beginners?

Is this poetry guide useful? I bought a book, "Essential Ginsberg" and really enjoyed it. Trying to get more into poetry. I'm thinking of trying the Bukowski book in pic related. His poetry seems simple and straightforward.

So, my gf is going to Italy for 3 weeks, and our only contact will be by video chat weekly (maybe more), and postcards. I want to buy her a book of poetry from this list (or not, whatever), but I can't decide.

She loves Walt Whitman and has Leaves of Grass. I love Robert Frost, so I'm thinking of getting her that book. I'm also considering The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, another one of my favorites.
What do you think would be a nice book for a boy to give to a girl as she leaves him for 3 weeks to stay in Italy?
Anything Italian (not totally in italian though -- she can speak it a bit but I don't know how fluent she is in Italian)?

Is there a better recommendation list for poetry? Specifically from the last century?

Here's the poetry guide from the wiki.

For other authors you may like, Phillip K. Dick and Peter S. Beagle if you don't have them already.

Take this picture with a grain of salt. If you want something that's annotated, I suggest you find a generic book about poetry and techniques, or a book of poetry criticism, I'd recommend "Rhyme's Reason" by John Hollander but it's specific about structure..
