i mean that most of the more advanced stuff, outside of obsolete traditionalisms, can be arrived at simply by writing well, accounting for contradictions and brevity, and understanding the conventions of communication. i don't know anyone who doesn't "get" grammar who is also an adept writer.

and yeah, it can apply to almost any language...because almost all languages are easy to learn.

pretty solid imagery throughout, but i'm not getting a consistent feeling of poeticism; you use some poetic devices, but they seem generally an afterthought.

as far as the angst goes, writing angsty poetry isn't a doomed venture but if you go into writing trying to figure out how you feel, then that writing's best kept personal. shakiness and confusion transfers through the pen and makes very personal work very boring to read.

there's nothing wrong with writing exploratory poetry, but it should conclude somewhere that enables you to write a solid, wisely-written, and cohesive piece. don't let your research act as your paper.
