Listened to the audiobook version of it.

I actually agree with the core ideas but the execution is so awful that I can't recommend this book.

Regarding the core ideas here's the analogy I like to use: Think of pollution, by living in a society that uses unrecyclable plastic goods and purchasing said goods you are making a tiny contribution to the giant plastic island in the ocean. That doesn't make you some bigoted heartless "polluter" but it's a byproduct of the society you live in and it's important to be aware of that.

This book uses the word racist to mean being an actor in a society where racism happens. I think the actual good takeaway is that race is a big issue in the US and it's important to realize this didn't happen outta nowhere and that we all contribute to this status quo in some way or another.

That being said: FUCK this book. If you like it, you have to be a big fucking cuck that loves getting talked down to.

Chapter 1: WHY YOU'RE A LITERAL RACIST AND I HATE YOU

Chapter 2: O shit did u think Racist meant you're bigoted??? Noooo, you're just a member of this society where racism happens.

Chapter 3: Why I still hate you and other reasons I'm better than you.

By the time I finished listening to this garbage at 2x speed my teeth were ground to dust and I had aged 2 years. It's sad because I think the core message is interesting but goddamn I hate being talked down to.

I'm so mad at how much time I spent writing this.

Tldr: Core message is alright. big time moving goalposts. Designed for absolute cucks.
