sounds "novel," heh
Maybe its a bit NPC of me but what is the appeal of nonlinearity? I guess I could see it working thematically pretty well

Suggestions for poets who had a reverential fear of God but wrote about promiscuous or taboo subjects like Baudelaire?

God probably hates how much I like Baudelaire, but his works are a guilty pleasure.

What do they seek in a male partner?

Anybody know why Klimt's oeuvre attracts so many art hoes? It's also always the same fucking painting (The Kiss)like in OP's pic related. Is it because his paintings are always themed around love and sex?

Because of all the workshops I had to do with my classmates, it taught me that I was a better writer than a lot of people. Knowing that, it gave me the confidence to keep writing. The very next semester, I became the school's lit mag's poetry editor. In that same semester, I also had five of my own poems published.

Creative writing classes are good if you don't know fuck all about writing. However, if you've ever taken your writing seriously, you'll learn nothing more than the basics. The workshops are probably the most useful aspect of writing classes, I guess. It's good to hear actual feedback from real life people in real time as opposed to a rejection letter.

Whether you agree or not, /lit/ undoubtedly has taste. Might not be for literature sometimes, but at least for jezebels.

>lit mag emails me
>"we wanna print your poem, but you first gotta change the title since it's far too similar to this French poet's elegy from a failed movement centuries ago"
>she suggests a decent title
>I suck her ass and praise her for coming up with a title that's "better" than mine

I didn't wanna jeopardize my chances of getting printed, boys. Did I do the right thing? Granted, I liked her suggestion, but I feel like I failed myself. Has this ever happened to anyone else? To any other writers in history?

City college brainlet here.

This is the rad life, my boys. I'm majoring in English and getting a certificate in forestry, yet I still have way more than enough time to pursue personal interests and work as a copy editor. It's nowhere near as prestigious as even the worst state school, but, goddamn it, I don't care at all.

If there's anyone here contemplating on attending a CC, AMA.

I just followed a girl across town for almost an hour just out of curiosity (wanted to see her face but I lost her when she went into a car park), what are some books for this feel?

My professor doesn't give two shits how long a project is, so most people in my class just write the bare minimum. Some people just don't like overachievers.

That's cause Austen is entry-level for the classics. English 101 classes always have a novel or two of hers in their syllabus.

>copy editor

I hate this job, even though it's easy as shit. Some reporters literally just send me an entire document of run-on sentences for stories and expect me to coalesce everything for them. There's a guy who doesn't know what a verb is.

I'm enlisting into the Air Force soon. Hopefully, it'll be more /lit/ than this.
