no one has ever held them responsible for anything in their life. they can literally just kill their own child as many times as they want if they think it will otherwise interfere with their preferred lifestyle and everyone will pat them on the back like they did a noble thing. they live in a completely different world

this is the only place i have to discuss literature with people. i keep casually asking peers if they've done any reading lately hoping to find someone i can talk to about it and it seems no one has
