What do you prefer writing, /lit/? Prose or poetry?

Personally,I think it is much more fun and much more interesting to write poetry because of the text having a structure, which allows you to play around with words and construct your own meta into the words. I heart many people saying that writing poetry is extremely restricting, but I disagree. It opens many possibilities prose does not offer.

Got to run- that ice cream I left out on the counter is probably Milton by now.

Milton was blind. He wrote the best poem in the English language.

Milton is an overrated prat whose poetry is only remembered and appreciated by Christfags.

So, I'm about halfway through Paradise Lost, and will probably finish it on the plane. Based on the last books I have read, what might I read next?
