This was written in 3 attempts and you can notice it by how he basically repeats himself. They do believe that Stefanie was added to humanize him. But there is proof that she existed. There is even video on youtube you can see right now of her. A historian interviewed her, and she was aboslutely shocked that hitler had a crush on her, but said she didn't remember him at all. But she did say that she once received a love letter from an anonymous guy telling her to not get married until he graduates from art school.

As for proof of the other stuff, like how hitler spent a lot of time thinking of ways to help the poor: there is endless sketches, letters, and writings of hitler's plans for the poor. And not only that, but he literally came back to Linz, his hometown, and CARRIED OUT his plans for helping people. building bridges, concert halls (to bring them music), housing, etc.
