What's your honest opinion on Pound, /lit/?

Do you think he was a hack? I've recently red a few biographies and collections of essays, and I can't decide whether his views on things were honestly complex because he had such deep opinions about things or simply because he contradicted himself every other step.

What do you think of his poetry? Cantos; yes or no?

How much is he to blame for his anti-semitism and fascism?

Ezra Pound general, let's get some appreciation/hatred going on for this dude. The more I read, the more facets and opinions I get about him, it's really kind of interesting.

I decided that a playlist consisting solely of songs about books, or based on books, would be a fun idea. I was wondering what your favorite literature-themed jams are, /lit/! Most of the songs I can think of offhand are metal, but any genre is fine, as long as they're not punk songs about anarchism or any -ism based on a cursory glance at a Bakunin bio.

Some ideas so far:

Mastodon - I Am Ahab
Blind Guardian - Lord of the Rings
Death Cab for Cutie - That one song about Twilight
Every Viking Metal Band, Ever - Any song about the Eddas

I suppose this could be considered more a /mu/ question, but I'm asking you guys and gals because I like you anons more.
