hey, man. books aren't going to help you cope. books are mostly, if reading properly, an intellectual activity which a distressing emotional state will not facilitate. Most likely you'll maybe be distracted while reading the book, if you can even focus on reading, and the moment you set it down you'll be flushed with negative emotions.
The best way to get over this is simply through prayer. Know that Jesus Christ is your Lord and He loves you. Talk to him, and in time you will not need to cope anymore, but rather you'll heal. Especially, your brother needs your prayers more than anything for the sin he committed.
Hope you do good and deal with your loss in a positive way.
